LAB7 announces its collaboration with Enterprise Singapore as a Challenge Statement Owner for the 6th Edition of the Sustainability Open Innovation Challenge, joining forces with global industry leaders like Goodyear, Lenovo, and Renault Group in this pioneering initiative.

As the venture building arm of Aramco, LAB7 is committed to partner with disruptive startups to transform advanced technologies into successful ventures that address critical environmental challenges. At the heart of this collaboration lies our strategic focus on pioneering advancements in two critical domains shaping the future of sustainability: next-generation energy storage solutions that accelerate the global sustainable energy transition, and breakthrough carbon utilization technologies to offset greenhouse gas emissions and create valuable products to support circular carbon economy. 

This landmark collaboration marks a significant step forward in our mission to catalyze transformative innovation, bridging the gap between market-ready technologies and scaled commercial solutions that address pressing environmental challenges.

The program roadmap is clear and action-oriented: International startups submitted their applications through Enterprise Singapore's innovation platform based on the challenge statements of each participating corporate. The screening process has commenced, leading to an exciting demo day in May where selected startups will be announced for various partner programs, including onboarding to LAB7’s venture building program.

What sets this initiative apart is its potential for real-world impact. Selected proposals may have the opportunity to partner with LAB7, through which startups can co-develop and enhance their technologies alongside LAB7’s team of technical experts, gain market access, including facilitated access to its cooperate network, and receive startup funding, in exchange for a minority equity ownership. This customized support, alongside access to top-tier infrastructure and facilities, and guidance from subject matter experts will accelerate the penetration of transformative innovations to the market.
